Viña Cobos

Visit and tasting

Viña Cobos is one of the most prestigious wineries in Mendoza, co-founded by the renowned American winemaker Paul Hobbs and Argentine viticulturists Andrea Marchiori and Luis Barraud. Since its inception, this project has stood out for its commitment to quality and innovation in viticulture. Its wines, especially the Malbecs, are recognized worldwide for their complexity, elegance, and impeccable structure.

Here, sustainable viticultural practices and meticulous winemaking techniques are employed to create wines that capture the essence of the Mendoza landscape, earning multiple awards and high scores from international critics. In fact, it was the first Argentine winery to achieve 100 points from Robert Parker.

You will taste 5 wines: Felino Chardonnay, Bramare Luján de Cuyo Malbec, Bramare Valle de Uco Malbec, Bramare Luján de Cuyo Cabernet Sauvignon, and Viña Cobos Vinculum Malbec. Each of these glasses will be accompanied by a specially paired bite.

Lunch, visit and Blending Game

The Catena family has been a pioneer in producing high-quality wines in the Mendoza region. Under the leadership of Nicolás Catena Zapata and his daughter Laura Catena, the winery has achieved worldwide fame.

This winery stands out for its commitment to research and the development of new viticultural methods, including the use of high altitudes for cultivating their vineyards. They combine traditional techniques with modern approaches to create wines that reflect the diversity and richness of the Mendoza terroir.

With architecture inspired by Mayan pyramids, the winery offers a unique visual and enological experience. Their wines have received numerous awards and high scores from international critics, solidifying their reputation as a leader in the wine industry.

The experience will be twofold, starting with a multi-course lunch paired with wines. Afterwards, there will be a tour of the winery, concluding with a “Blending Game” where you can create your own wine.

Contions and clarifications:

• A minimum of 2 people is required. Reservations are subject to availability.
• In case of unavailability at the mentioned wineries, a substitution will be made for another of similar characteristics.
• Prices are per person.
• Wineries that have received 100 points for their wines are visited, but the wines that have received such score are not tasted.
• The tour includes private transfers, but visits and tastings at some wineries may be shared with a group of people.
